We channel resources to the right innovations to co-create a Vegan Utopia.
At Vtopian, we invest in, and help grow, early-stage businesses whose mission seeks to remove animals from the supply chain.
The vegan market opportunity is massive, but it needs more dedicated resources.

Some of our key target sectors…
Food Is Huge
According to a study from University of Oxford, animal products use about 83% of the world’s farmland, but yield only 18% of total consumed calories. It’s a highly inefficient industry, and there are massive opportunities to disrupt this legacy industry with alternative protein technologies such as plant-based protein, precision fermentation, and cell-based protein.
Ethical Fashion Should Be Normalized
Be it fur, leather, wool, down, or silk, the fashion industry’s use of animals as a byproduct is a laughable myth. The animals used in the fashion industry are bred specifically for the industries, often times the food aspect is actually the byproduct. A whole host of alternative fabrics are available in the market but requires resources to scale up production to drive down costs for mass market adoption.
Animal Research Needs to Go
We’re in this day and age where we send humans into space to travel, yet we are still testing drugs on animals. This is a pure legacy with proven alternative technologies available. It’s a rapidly growing market too - according to a report from Research and Markets, the global non-animal alternative testing market was valued at US$1.11 billion in 2019, and expected to grow at a CAGR of 10.40% during 2019-2025.
We invest with our founding partners’ own capital. It’s true skin in the game.
At the moment, we are not raising funds from external investors.
